Surgical Technician Job Opening in Fayetteville, North carolina - Distinctive Health Care is seeking to hire full-time Surgical Technicians for the hospital Operating Rooms at Fort Braggs near Fayetteville, NC.
Requirements:
Two years of related experience in a healthcare setting required
. * A current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Must have experience with sterilization, decontamination, and prepping of surgical instrumentation.
Previous experience in an operating room for endoscopy clinical setting preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures, use of equipment, hospital policies.
Must be flexible and able to maintain a professional demeanor under all stressful circumstances.
Must be able to understand the key role that a surgical health technician plays in the department.
Required ability to communication via documentation, telephone, and computer.
