Scheduling Coordinator Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports the Scheduling Manager with the on-boarding of new clients and maintains caregiver staff schedule and makes changes as required.
Create, maintain and update the care team schedule for client base according to authorizations and client needs under the direction of the Scheduling Manager. Document employment events, schedule changes and employee information in scheduling software program, confirm changes with staff, send monthly schedules to clients as well as any follow up changes. Update and maintain staff availability lists and records within scheduling program.
REQUIREMENTS :
At minimum 1 year of experience in a Scheduling position.
Experience working in a healthcare-related position.
Two or more years? experience working in a professional office environment with proven ability to operate office equipment.
Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience working with scheduling software programs.
Experience with email correspondences.
Must be comfortable answering and communicating through personal phone calls.
Pass a criminal background check.
Drug screening done at our discretion.
Current and valid driver?s license with ability to show proof of auto insurance and access to a private vehicle for business use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or scheduling database programs.
Ability to prioritize and complete work on time, detail-oriented, exhibit a service orientation to clients and caregivers, and a team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to work with confidential information and follow all company policies regarding privacy and HIPAA.
Requires solid organizational skills, thoroughness and multi-tasking. Requires good interpersonal skills and solid analytic thinking. Must be able to demonstrate ability to make informed judgment decisions regarding the schedule. Must also demonstrate a sense of understanding and urgency for priorities. Requires the ability to appropriately troubleshoot and escalate where necessary.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
