ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is part of an established team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide on-site customer support of day-to-day functions related to inventory levels in computerized industrial dispensing equipment (Auto-Crib Systems) and effective delivery of our integrated supply services. Responsibilities include:
Receiving, stocking, repackaging, and reconciling industrial tooling and supplies in computerized storage machines;
Maintenance of inventory databases;
Serving as key point-of-contact for our customers? site location(s): problem-solving operational issues and communicating resolution with our customers in a timely and responsive manner;
Interfacing with purchasing and maintenance personnel at customer facility to improve efficiencies and reduce costs;
Effectively interfacing with our vendors and customers to coordinate transitions to new products;
Periodic scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of vending storage machines;
Training of customer site personnel in the use of vending storage equipment;
Participating in continuous improvement projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to inventory processes for industrial products;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;
Self-motivated, reliable team player to work independently on site;
Strong customer service orientation and pro-active problem-solving;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Familiarity with MRO and maintenance supplies in a manufacturing environment is a plus;
Strong experience in Excel; experience with pivot tables is a plus;
Strong written and verbal communication skills important;
Project experience is a plus;
High school diploma or GED.
