Summary: Responsible for managing all aspects of organization marketing/sales including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns. Developing and maintaining customer relationships with identified target or geographic target markets, particularly physicians and industry in Agency?s region. In addition to completing face-to-face contacts the representative plans and implements special events and marketing strategies. This position?s purpose is to represent the services of the Agency in the Region and increase utilization of those services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the Regional Director of Business Development and Agency Administrator in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department. Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of the agency as a high quality provider of services.
Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the agency markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor?s market positioning.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by the agency.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Database software. Must be proficient in the use of a PC, web-based portals and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; preferred
Experience:
At least three (3) to five (5) years? experience in health care sales or marketing, preferably in home care operations. At least one year experience in sales preferred.
