COMMUNITY MANAGER Job Opening in new york, New York - COMMUNITY MANAGER Community is at the center of CafeMom's strategy to bring millions of moms together for Conversation, Advice, Friendship, and Entertainment. With more than 70,000 mom groups on the site, CafeMom is striving to create an even better experience for the thousands of moms who sign up each day and the millions of moms who visit each month. We are looking for a dynamic Community Manager to join our Groups Team that works directly with CafeMom's partners and members of the site who participate in brand champion and product insight groups. Responsibilities: ? Increase engagement and mom experience in designated groups focused on a variety of products and categories ? Recruit, train and support leading moms on the site to serve as group leaders, group mods, brand evangelists and affiliate marketers ? Serve as active participant in key groups -- welcoming moms, connecting with users, making the group more vibrant and fun ? Drive membership in key groups -- working within and outside of CafeMom to promote the groups and activate new members ? Provide internal support for contests, promotions, newsletters and other programs ? Maintain relationships with brand managers of advertising partners and agencies ? Report on group activity -- categorizing and summarizing member conversation, highlighting key posts and tracking group metrics ? Create and implement ongoing programming plans based on group topics Experience: ? A passionate contributor to existing communities ? Great ability to connect with moms ? Excellent communication skills -- must be able to regularly work with group owners and mods to discuss participation levels, incentive opportunities, marketing plans, etc. ? Highly organized, attention to detail ? Strong ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve ? Bachelor degree or higher ?
