Job description
The Sales Representative role is to:
Develop, implement and evaluate quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve negotiated goals and to initiate strategies and actions.
Develops business partnerships by making effective Nova Home Health Care contacts and presentations in order to generate early and appropriate referrals.
Regularly call on health care professionals (physicians, hospitals and LTAC/SNK/AL) within a specific geographic area.
Day-to-day responsibilities consist of cold calling, maintaining existing client relationships and participation with community outreach and education, as needed.
Maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on Nova and the services we provide.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have at least two years? experience, along with a proven record of accomplishments, in direct sales and marketing in a healthcare environment. Someone with already existing relationships is preferred.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectives.
Applies a range of traditional and non-traditional problem-solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively to improve performance and company effectiveness.
Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e. physicians, nurses and office staff, hospital staff) demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.
A well-developed written and oral communication skill.
Highly effective organizational skills to implement a variety of programs, such as speaker programs and other activities.
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry involving interaction with physicians, patients, etc.
Experience in educating or influencing targeted customers
