Route Specialist Job Opening in High Point, North carolina - Position Summary :
This is a position requiring the employee to establish, maintain and build strong customer relationships through responsive and creative service strategies.
Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Salesmanship : Ability to identify needs and customer relationship for our products and services
Leadership : The ability to lead and direct co-workers and associates to streamline production, improve productivity and increase profitability.
Knowledge : Practical insight specific to the textile services industry and operations.
Decision Making: Identify problem/root causes and develops alternative courses of action and makes decisions that are based on logic assumptions which reflect factual information.
Communication : Excellent oral, written, phone and face to face communication skills with associates, customers and managers.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Conduct ?goodwill? customer visits
Oversee account check-ups
Manage customer inventory
Perform account performance reviews
Provide route relief to cover Route Representative vacations
Supervise new account setups
Make special deliveries to customers
Responsible for account maintenance
Manage up-selling current accounts
Lead generation
Required Competencies
Minimum of 2 years? experience with account management and ensuring customer satisfaction
High School Diploma and/or some college coursework required
Excellent verbal communication skills
Account management experience
Minimal delivery or route experience
Must be computer literate
Clean driving record
Ability to lift 50 pounds plus and push and pull carts of linen.
