Electrical Apprentice (contract-to-hire)- Louisville, KY
Electrical Apprentice Job Description:
This position is coming available due to divisional growth within the company and a need within the electrical trade. For this specific project, this individual would be responsible for assisting experienced electricians with all required work in the commercial sector.
Electrical Apprentice Responsibilities:
Apprentice electricians must be able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.
Apprentice electricians often work for many different customers, and must be friendly when working on site.
When diagnosing problems, apprentice electricians must think critically in their process of repairing the issue.
Apprentice electricians read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.
Electrical Apprentice Desired Skills and Experience:
Must have at least 1 year of exposure to electrical construction experience or applicable school experience
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Electrical Apprentice Pay and Benefits:
Pay: 12/hr- 15/hr
HYUR will pay for Level I apprenticeship program
Weekly pay
Accrued up to 40 hours Paid Time Off
6 paid holidays

This position would be a terrific opportunity for any candidate due to their recent relocation to a brand-new office building and a great life balance (jobs are all within a 2-hour radius to ensure employees can return home). This is a growing company with a significant amount of backlogged work. For this specific position, HYUR will pay for the candidate?s Level I apprenticeship program (as long as candidate is employed with HYUR for a full calendar year). Additionally, we offer weekly pay, accrued 40 hours of PTO, 6 paid holidays, LTD/STD, life insurance, 401k, and wage garnishment for hand tools (if necessary).
