Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepares, analyzes and manages large data sets involving historical financial information used to develop balance sheet risk management strategies
- Maintains control over various balance sheet accounts by completing the reconcilement process for the general ledger
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, Call Reports and other regulatory reports
- Prepares general ledger entries; makes adjustments and corrections as needed
- Conducts research and provides analytical support for the department
- Prepares correspondence, various financial reports, presentations, and assist with other accounting functions
- Assists with the forecasting and projection process
- Processes electronic funds transfer
- Responds to inquiries and checks accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies
- Maintains and reconciles purchased Certificates of Deposits; ensures that interest checks are received timely and posted- Reviews, updates, and monitors internal controls related to the department
- Administers the trust, investment, and securities functions
- Administers the Bank?s insurance and risk management portfolio
- Understands and interprets market, industry, and peer trends
- Assists with month and year end closing functions
- Analyzes financial transactions, compiles data, monitors and assists with expense control
- Assists with the development department procedures, policies, and processes
- Promotes and delivers exceptional customer services consistently to all business lines; maintains positive and productive working relationships with all internal and external customers
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, expectations, laws, and regulations
- Monitors and assists with the enforcement of compliance of policies, procedures, guidelines, and bank?s practices
- Exceeds all established position?s goals, objectives, and expectations
- Demonstrates consistent professional appearance, image, ethics, integrity, demeanor, and represents the CTB Brand
- Leads initiatives, add value, supports the Bank?s vision, core values, business principles, goals, and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
- Minimum three (3) years of comprehensive financial analysis and account reconciliation experience in a financial institution
- Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance
- Hands on working knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial ratio calculations, general banking regulations, laws, guidelines, GAAP, accounting practices, and related procedures
- Excellent analytical, technical, problem resolution, and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and legal documents
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management and leadership skills
- Must be able to maintain positive composure and consistently demonstrate professional appearance, image, demeanor, and represents the CTB Brand
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, and must be adaptable to change- Excellent quality customer service and telephone skills with the ability to establish relationships in a manner that enhances the overall marketing efforts of the Bank
- Proficient using advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, graphing, pivot tables); Microsoft Office, FISERV, and other accounting software systems
- Ability to use good judgment, makes sound business decisions, comprehend, follow directions, and instructions
- Ability to produce accurate and organized work with minimal supervision
- Good presentation, planning, interpersonal relationship building, organizational, and mathematical skills
- Ability to effectively handle and maintain confidential matters and information
- Must be a self-starter who is self-motivated with the ability to produce results, meet all established goals, objectives, and expectations, and ability to comply with all bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
