SUMMARY
Responsible to establish and build solid client relationships, manage customer leads and develop prospective clients in the produce industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows all workplace Environmental Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
Develop relationships with loyal clients; solicit feedback and provide feedback to company managers to enhance the quality of service.
Conduct reviews of accounts on regular basis to evaluate clients? purchasing history; determine types of products and prices satisfying the clients? needs as well as the organization?s objectives.
Receive and answer calls from the clients relating to client requests or questions.
Create and maintain accurate, accessible and organized Pricing lists, Contact information, and prepare necessary reports and documentation.
Ability to effectively work in inventory based software system, Famous, and enter Sales and Purchase Orders with ability to analyze sales data
Manages current assigned client list and identifies and converts new business opportunities.
Works effectively with customer & company staff.
Responds promptly to customers? queries, answers the clients? questions and ensures their problems are resolved.
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education: Candidates should possess a GED, high school diploma or any equivalent and 2+ years sales experience and previous Internship/work related experience in sales/customer service or equivalent in the produce industry.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional driving to visit and/or develop clients.
