This new Manager role is a great opportunity for you to join our growing Radiology Department. This position reports to our Administrative Manager of Outpatient Radiology and the Women?s Breast Center. In this position you are directly responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Women?s Imaging Departments at our different locations such as Tully Health Center, Darien Imaging, Wilton, and Greenwich; ensuring the highest quality and compliance with state, federal, and JC regulations, departmental and hospital policies and procedures, objectives, and philosophy. This position may assume the responsibilities of their Manager in their absence.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
, coordinate, and oversee the daily activities and operations of Tully, Darien, Wilton, and Greenwich Breast Centers within the Radiology Department, to ensure efficient operations, quality and timely results reporting, and superior, consistent customer service.
in the development of capital requests, and provide feedback to Manager regarding any staffing and equipment needs.
for weekly final approval of employee timecards in electronic time keeping system.
for entering requisitions for equipment and supply payment to vendors for Managers final approval.
expenses associated with staff, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance focusing on maximizing efficiencies and cost saving.
and maintain strong/positive relationships with all Outpatient Radiology staff in order to promote services, address issues, and retain customers.
authority for disciplinary and corrective action plans.
ownership of preparing for HRRC requisitions.
/facilitate in the interview process of prospective candidates for positions within areas of oversight.
understanding of staff needs and provide guidance and support to staff in order to achieve highest level of productivity and performance.
for oversight and performance of quality control for all accreditation programs within Tully, Darien, Wilton and Greenwich Women?s Imaging Departments.
ownership of mid-year and annual reviews with guidance from the Manager.
mentoring, and promote idea sharing with direct reports.
the Quality Manager in reviewing and updating policies and procedures for modalities and areas of oversight.
monthly department staff meetings in the absence of their Manager.
compliance with regulatory agencies such as JC, ACR, and other regulatory agencies as required.
customer service and service recovery efforts as necessary under the guidance of the Manager; train and oversee staff to handle situations directly and appropriately.
seek opportunities to further refine leadership skills and expertise in all areas related to healthcare administration through at education sessions, industry meetings, and other continuing education opportunities.
active membership in related industry, professional associations (e.g., American Healthcare Radiology Administrators ? AHRA, American College of Healthcare Executives ? ACHE, Connecticut Hospital Association ? CHA, or any other suitable accreditations as it pertains to this position).
in committees related to Women?s Imaging to ensure service standards are met.
mandatory meetings and in services as required for this position.
, maintain, and submit statistical reports as requested by Manager, and maintain files and records.
ownership for Apparent Cause Analyses for issues occurring within areas of oversight.
as a member on the NAPBC Committee.
in collaboration with Radiology Leadership to support growth strategies and initiatives.

ARRT License is required
Mammography License Required
High level of competency with computers, the Internet, and computer software such as MS Office or equivalent is required.
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills are required.
The ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, other departments, patients, and the community is required.
Experience with Performance Improvement programs
Competency with statistics and statistical analysis is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of radiology is required.
Prior experience is required.
