Programmer Analyst Job Opening in Newington, Connecticut - We are currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join our team. We have developed a series of products that make underlying changes to methods of manufacturing workflow and information systems.
Work in Newington, CT with the software development group within our Github framework to develop C# and Visual Basic solutions and revisions for three product lines.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a functional understanding of the current Visual Studio environment, and C#
Translate third party API documentation based on Java and Python to function with our applications.
Maintain a functional understanding of MySQL, SQL Server and any other database relevant to the projects at hand.
Work as part of a multi person development team on projects. Strengthen communication on technical issues, innovations and documentation
Keep a proper revision history within our existing revision framework
Maintain absolute confidentiality on all topics related to software
Maintain a functional knowledge of different Windows revisions and how they impact networked applications and credentials
Work with autonomy online to seek solutions if other members of the internal team do not have immediate help.
Experience:
Two to ten years experience programming or any language within the framework. A bachelors degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is strongly preferred but not required.
