SAT Tutors Job Opening in monterey, California - SAT Tutors Monterey Tutoring is a leading provider of in-home one-on-one tutoring services for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We help students achieve academic excellence and build self-confidence. Monterey Tutoring serves students in the Monterey Bay area. We are looking for outstanding Tutors to join our team. Tutoring typically takes place during evening and weekend hours at the homes of our students. As a Tutor you will impact every child and be part of a team that is responsible for driving each child�s academic progress and self confidence. Are you� An experienced tutor/teacher, currently attending university or a university graduate? Passionate about teaching children and teenagers? An expert in the areas of Math, Sciences, English or other languages? If you answered yes to these questions, this position may be perfect for you! Responsibilities: Create customized lesson plan for each child tutored Provide instruction according to prepared learning plans Create and maintain a motivational and enthusiastic learning environment Communicate with parents and discuss their children�s progress by delivering progress reports Meticulously record student performance and track students� progress Administer and score academic assessments Qualifications: Previous experience working with students; classroom experience a plus Bachelor�s Degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher Demonstrated ability to explain challenging concepts in a motivating way Effective communication skills with students and parents Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents Excellent academic background Please send your resume to: jobs@ monterey ca california
