Front of House Manager-Host Job Opening in york, Pennsylvania - Front of House Manager-Host We are a small, busy casual/fine dining restaurant located in York, PA. We are actively seeking a Front of the House Manager. The applicant should have a good knowledge of managing staff and have worked in this industry no less than 3 years. The Front of the House Manager at Victor's is the person who greets the customers by hosting the restaurant nightly, manages the staff and runs the restaurant's dinner service from start to finish. We are interested in a person that will take the initiative to create a cohesive and well trained staff for the restaurant. They should have a lot of energy, be presentable, well spoken and well groomed. This position requires a command of managing the staff by training them in the overall area of service for fine dining, strategies for upselling and a good general knowledge of wine and craft beers is a plus. This job will also require some knowledge of taking inventory and placing orders. Dedication, focus and attention to details are a plus to be a good candite for this position, as well as a vibrant and accomodating personality. This job requires on site hosting and managing for 40 hours a week. Must definitely be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, the restaurant is closed on Sunday but occasionally open for private parties. Victor's Italian Restaurant 554 S.
