Insurance Sales Rep/Relationship Manager Job Opening in Sandy, Utah - We are looking for an Insurance Sales Specialist to join our agency! Position pays a base hourly wage plus commission. Avg. sales rep makes approx. $20.00/hour (base pay plus commission monthly) with potential to make more.
Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Create sales material to present to customers
Must be comfortable making 30+ phone calls per day (Names given to you by agency daily to call, no cold calls. Expected to generate names and leads through referrals and networking aside from names given to you daily)
Network with local small business owners to generate referrals
Market through referrals and professional networking
Qualifications:
Property and Casualty Insurance and Life insurance licenses required
Previous experience in sales and customer service
Computer skills and understanding of basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Compensation:
Base plus commission - avg. pay equates to approx. $20/hour with potential to make MUCH MORE!
Bonuses given for reaching agency goals.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Occasional Saturdays
Career Opportunities:
Sales Representatives who perform well will be eligible to open up their own American Family Insurance Agency as early as 6-12 months after hire.
Opportunity to become office manager as agency grows - this would entail hiring new staff, training and managing future sales representatives.
