This technology consists of both surgical devices and related consumable components and it will primarily be sold in a procedural manner to physicians through surgical technique training to help them to gain proficiency with the technologies during cases to achieve better patient outcomes. Call points also will include others within the hospital purchasing chain as well such as department managers, as well as the VP of Finance and other C level executives where you will project and analyze ROI for the hospitals that adopt the technology. The hiring manager prefers candidates with 2-3+ years of OR sales experience. They will also consider candidates with other medical sales experience within the hospital arena in areas such as ICU, ER, etc. The bottom line is that all candidates need to possess a consistent tract record that demonstrates a hunger and desire for success and a strategic approach with a sales with multiple call points and multiple decision makers. If you are that person there is no cap on earnings with this company and $200K+ on a long term basis is very attainable within this territory too.
