1099 Outside Sales Rep (Medical Devices experienced required... Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Pacific Biomedical is looking for a DVT Medical Device Sales Representatives to call on their existing contacts in orthopedic, podiatry, surgical oncology, spine and cardio offices.
We have been in the DME business for over 15 years and are now looking to expand! This is a golden opportunity for connected salespersons to get on board with a turn-key business model providing surgeons and their patients the best in boutique durable medical equipment for their at-home post-op care. With an existing book of business to convert this is a $200k+, no cap, $$$$ position!
Medical Device Sales Requirements:
Knowledge of DVT devices and their benefit to patients post-op. Previous selling experience a plus
At least 5 years' experience of selling Medical Devices or Medical Services within a hospital AND/OR Specialized Practice Environment
A book of existing business to convert (within mentioned fields)
Preferably trained in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or the like.
Possess strong leadership skills and capacity to strategically think about a vision for creating an impactful service.
Ability to gain "quick wins" by engendering credibility at an organizational level.
Excellent communication skills with surgeons and office admin medical facility partners.
Ability to foster an atmosphere of respect, trust, and aligned commitment to organizational goals consistent with the mission of a small sales team.
Able to motivate and inspire others into action and bring a "can-do" proactive approach to sales and territory accounts.
An entrepreneurial character who understands and facilitates the nuances of serving many masters in a complex, matrixed environment.
Medical Device Sales Responsibilities:
Meet yearly goals and plans by preparing a territory sales plan specifying specific objectives, target accounts, key clinicians, product promotions and other issues central to achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives.
medical equipment/product lines within the clinical environment.
Customer service/acquisition of new customers promoting profit opportunities for providers.
Controlling all the resources and materials of related sales area.
Regular reporting to Phoenix-based ops team, on the evolution of the sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market.
