As an Assembly Associate use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures and jigs
Follow verbal instruction to complete tasks
Perform pre-assembly quality check on all components
Responsible for assembling the metal parts.
The Assembler will ensure proper care of equipment and promote workplace safety
Follow detailed assembly instructions in a variety of formats (i.e, drawings, schematics, bills of material, internal procedures or some combination thereof
Assembly Associate Requirements:
Able to work 5 days a week, to include Sundays and overtime when needed
As an Assembly Associate you must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, bend, and crawl on a continuous basis
Capable of working well both independently and in a team setting
May moderately be exposed to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, steam, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule and within company standards
Ability to work safely around/with automated and semi-automated machinery.
