Software Engineer Job Opening in Bedford, Massachusetts - Our client is looking for a software engineer to work in on their Bioinformatics role will be helping to develop web applications to expose data and algorithms for the scientists.
This will be a full stack development role and the environment is MEAN Stack, Python on the back end, and the DB is PostgreSQL. This person will be building visualizations (D3), API?s, and pulling data out of lab machines and clinical studies in order to make it accessible for scientists.
Responsibilities
Design and develop sophisticated, stable, and maintainable applications to solve real challenges throughout the production pipeline
Work closely with users to understand the science behind our products, collect their requirements, and design solutions
Work collaboratively as part of vibrant development team
Peer-review the work of other developers on the team for quality and accuracy
Develop unit tests and test scenarios
Help improve the overall design and architecture of the suite of applications
Implement automated data analysis and mathematical algorithms
