Software Engineer (.NET) - Senior Level Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - NBC is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer () - Senior Level to help design and implement NBC's software solutions.
Position overview:
In the role of Software Engineer () - Senior Level, you would be responsible for providing overall architectural guidance and technical expertise to a team of developers. This is an exempt, nonsupervisory position, reporting directly to the Manager of Software Development.
Other responsibilities include:
Build scalable APIs and web applications using C#
Design best-in-class data access methodologies
Problem solve complex technical hurdles
Collaborate with product management team in understanding business needs
Collaborate with testing team in identifying test cases
Participate in code reviews
Identify and address performance concerns
Other duties as assigned
Necessary qualifications, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline; 5+ years? experience engineering software solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive C# development experience
Experience implementing Continuous Delivery
Microsoft SQL Server or another RDBMS
Architectural experience engineering scalable software APIs and web applications
Preferred in:
Exposure to Agile Methodology
MVC
Web API 2
OWIN
MVC/MVVM/SPA front-end technologies (Angular, , React)
