Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Account Managers to meet the sales and marketing requirements of clients within an assigned territory.
Be responsible for the sales growth in a set of accounts for brands the organization represents and services it provides.
Support Account Managers in brand development.
Execute on marketing initiatives to drive business, including email campaigns.
Assist regional sales in bid opportunities, including research, analysis, and recap.
Provide account management functionality for specific office supply dealer segments.
Conduct market research to identify channels for expanding strategic marketing initiatives.
Develop a working knowledge of the office supply industry and The Highlands Group?s unique value propositions.
Help in generating and qualifying vendor supplied leads.
Assist with maintaining accuracy of CRM data within your assigned territory.
Knowledge
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Skills and abilities
Proven grasp of lead generation, account management, and relationship management.
Understanding of outbound calling techniques.
Solid business, verbal, written, sales, and presentation skills.
Ability to handle all possible obstacles and strong desire to improve professionally.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
Ability to approach dynamic situations and maintain a possible attitude.
Experience
2+ years of sales experience.
Experience in the office supply industry is a plus.
