Embedded Software Engineer Job Opening in Rancho Cordova, California - This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager in R&D.
Duties
Designs, modifies, develops and implements software for embedded systems, specifically touch screen fixtures.*
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.* *
Write and maintain project documentation including feasibility studies, requirements, design and handoff reports.* *
Learn details of elevator systems and peripherals ? become a domain expert.*
Requirements
Min 3 years? experience in embedded systems and Linux
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
Linux kernel and drivers
C, C++
TCP/IP sockets
CAN, SPI, UART, USB, SD Card interfaces
GIT Management is a Very Strong Plus
QT is a Very Strong Plus
Web design is a Plus
