Senior Software Developer Job Opening in Panorama City, California - We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong PHP development skills and an understanding of other languages (C#, Java, web). Management of Ubuntu and FreeBSD web servers also a plus. This in an in-house position.
The pay for this position will range from $55-65k depending on experience and skillset. After a probationary period of 90 days, consideration of a 10-15% salary increase will go into effect. Benefits are offered in this position.
As Senior Software Developer, the majority of daily tasks will consist of designing and developing new PHP-based websites as well as maintaining and updating existing sites. There is a great opportunity to custom-build new software or build off of our existing template.
Corporate and client information is securely stored in both MySQL and MSSQL databases. As such, a good understanding of database management in both storage environments is highly recommended.
Company size is small with 1-2 individuals per department. The corporation's focus is with online education, primarily traffic school. You will be in coordination with other departments to facilitate the management of company records as well as on-boarding of new affiliated schools.
Because of the corporation's smaller size, the work environment is relaxed and allows for a relaxed set of guidelines. The Senior Software position reports directly to the CEO. There are no departments above this position.
