Home Improvement Sales Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - You must have home improvement sales experience and able to go to two weeks of paid training (out of town) in September (10th-22nd) to be considered for this position.
Are you an experience home improvement salesperson? Are you looking for a reputable company with a quality product, plenty of company provided leads, and opportunity to make real commissions?
Sell a product that consumer reports ranks as the industry leader. You will be selling a premium custom made home improvement product that had over 35% growth in sales 2015 and 2016.
HIGHLIGHTS: Company provides: On average 8 very qualified leads/appointments weekly. You can expect an average sale to be about 12K, with average commissions running $1500. Despite the 12K average sale, close % are still above 25%. ***No sales office or showroom.
1/2 of the sales force made six figures across the country last year. Top reps cleared 160K+ in 2016.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and present a 90 minute educational session to leads provided by the company.
Be well versed in all aspects of the products in comparison to competitors and various company product offering
Travel a minimum of 100 miles from home to make sales presentations
Communicate in a friendly, helpful manner, answering questions and advising potential customers on options and set-up that will best meet their needs.
Resolve any concerns a potential customer may have in making a purchase at the appointment
Take appointments as assigned, typically nights and Saturdays.
Provide information through manuals, sample books and tablet computers to customers in a professional manner.
Ensure customers are excited about their purchase while driving highest profitability for the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience selling direct to consumers; experience selling high end products (average sale of 12K or more), e.g., windows, roofs, sunrooms, home improvements, etc.
Ability to drive a minimum of 100 miles from home.
Ability to life and carry 40 pound sample case
Ability to work with strangers in their homes, use a tablet computer, sit for 90 minutes and while driving.
Only experienced, 3 years minimum, in-home one-call close sellers should apply. This is a commission driven opportunity (W-2 with benefits, paid training included).
