Financial Controller Job Opening in Orleans, Massachusetts - Controller - Snows Home & Garden
Location: Orleans Cape Cod, Ma
Job Status: Full Time; Monday - Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced Controller with a Bachelor?s degree in accounting or comparable field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our management team. The position has three direct reports; Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Specialist, and Accounting Clerk.
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Asset Keeper; Epicor Eagle Systems a plus.
Prepare all monthly and annual financial statements
Supervise and develop staff
Analyze balance sheet and profit and loss statement transactions
Responsibilities:
Manage cash disbursements and receipts (A/P and A/R)
Prepare monthly closing journal entries
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Reconciliations of payables, inventories, receivables
Oversee payroll and benefit programs
Fixed asset management
Federal and state tax management
Reconcile intercompany transactions
Prepare Excel reports to support financial statements
Prepare annual budgets and long range plans
Liaise with outside CPA firm to ensure financial statements are tax return ready
Strengths:
