LitmanGerson Associates (LGA) is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join the Business Consulting and Valuation Services practice area. LGA focuses on delivering outstanding client service with a strong commitment to technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Skills :
Experience in planning and performing projects, including but not limited to, business valuations, financial projections, due diligence relating to buy/sell transactions, and profit improvement analysis
Preparing appropriate work papers using proper techniques and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Obtaining an understanding of various clients? accounting systems
Flexibility to manage multiple client projects, which includes some travel to client sites
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues, managers, partners, and clients
Ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional growth
Working in a collaborative team environment as well as being self-motivated
A desire to develop trusted client relationships
Strong attention to detail and a passion for excellence
Positive attitude focused on enhancing the firm?s culture and an open-mindedness to change
Software Skills :
Microsoft Office Products
Proficient in technology and a paperless environment
Education :
BS/BA in Finance, Management, Accounting or related concentration
Plan to pursue professional designation in either Business Valuation, Financial Forensics, or related concentration
