Staff Accountant - Restaurant & Franchise Group Job Opening in Canton, Massachusetts - ROLE: Franchise & Restaurant Group: Staff Accountant 2+ Years
PURPOSE: Help deliver an exemplary client experience by providing support to clients. Serve as a valued member of the firm by contributing to shared departmental responsibilities.
REPORTS TO/ ACCOUNTABILITY: Franchise Partners & Managers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Comprehend accounting systems by developing working knowledge of in-house personal computer software packages.
· Ability to prepare monthly compiled financial statements.
· Performing bank reconciliations.
· Ability to develop and understand trial balances
· Ability to reconcile all client financial accounts
· Analysis of financial data and ratios.
· Constructing client payroll
· Preparation of corporate and individual tax returns.
· Perform necessary monthly Journal Entries to include ? Sales, Payroll, Accrued Payroll, Inventory, Prepaid and Accrued Expenses, Disbursements, Bank Activity, Credit Card Activity, and all other items.
· Ability to use Fixed Asset Software

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
· 2+ years of experience
· Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field
· Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping, communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency within MS Office including Excel
