Sr. Business Analyst (Financial Systems) Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - What is this position?
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will partner with internal customers to develop solutions to customer issues and ensure accurate reporting and analysis or project and property accounting activity (Powerplant).
What are the responsibilities?
Lead team in efforts relating to gathering requirements, funding transfers, table maintenance, system configurations, security design, vendor resolution of break fix items, and incident resolution.
Lead process improvement efforts with the intent to enhance system efficiency, functionality, and drive toward commonality
Lead team in system upgrades, integration projects, and support cost management system implementations (gathering requirements, design, testing, change management, etc.)
Implement and lead change management in order to facilitate standardization of analysis and reporting
Provide support and aid regarding the Powerplant system administration and related property accounting processes
Provide expertise in managing break fix and enhancement testing, special projects, system maintenance, and monthly reports relating to property accounting functions
Serve as a liaison between the end users and the business
Provide training for the related processes and systems
What are the requirements?
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related
8+ years of related experience
Proven knowledge and expertise in implementing financial systems
Strong background in business systems and processes
Knowledge and understanding of Powerplant applications
Knowledge and understanding of sub and financial systems and how they interact
Preferred past exposure to forecasting processes and capital budgeting
Preferred process improvement experience in finance/accounting related field
Capable of prioritizing responsibilities and assignments employing experience, independent judgment, innovation, and decision making
Capable of maximizing the use of a system?s abilities and expert at maneuvering in a system
Effective and strong leadership and organizational skills with an aptitude for project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
