Job Description
Architecting, developing, and maintaining an innovative test automation system for the organization?s financial accounting processes
Extensive work experience (8+ years) in defining and rolling out automation frameworks for large scale ERP projects and specifically for Oracle EBS using OATS. The goal of the Test Automation Architect will be to develop and implement the test automation framework which is modular, portable, and scalable in OATS.
Ability to plan the installation and configuration of OATS in various environments with the support of product experts * Develop automation strategy, develop a plan and execute the plan. Define automated test criteria, test data requirements and security profiles for automating the regression testing of P2P, O2C and A2R business processes.
Lead a small team to develop automated tests for all functionality that meets specified automation criteria
Work closely with the Oracle Application Architect/s, Business Leads and SMEs to develop a solid regression testing solution to be used for
Work collaboratively in high intensity, often chaotic environment, with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts. Partner with business and IT to coordinate and orchestrate the testing of the automated regression suite, resolve defects, and version control the scripts.
Report progress and status to leadership; resolve issues and manage day to day work and 2-3 OATS developers.
Education ? MS or equivalent, preferably in the Engineering.
Knowledge of tools such as QTP, Selenium, Rational Automation Tester are preferred.
Excellent documentation, planning and communication skills required.
