IOP Program Director - LMSW / LCSW Job Opening in Alexandria, Louisiana - Responsibilities: Essential Functions
The Intensive Outpatient Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the facilities? outpatient services and functions, subject to oversight by the Hospital Administrator, CEO, and/or Board of Directors. Coordinates with the DON staffing issues and pertinent nursing care issues to assist in overseeing all nursing duties that apply to the daily operation of the program. The Program Director shall assure the outpatient program is adequately staffed, programming meets the standards set in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies and procedures and PI Standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Master?s degree in Social Work is preferred.
SKILL REQUIREMENT:
Must have excellent assertive communication skills. Must be a sound leader who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster cooperation across departmental lines and manage information, environmental and fiscal resources to accomplish goals. Must have good writing and composition skills. Must be able to organize and prioritize high volume workload. Must be able to function with minimal supervision. Therapeutic Intervention De-escalation Education required. Must have ability to maintain overall good work attitude and interact cooperatively and professionally with other staff members. Must possess basic competency in diversity needs of patients served and ability to relate to patients in a manner sensitive to those needs.
