The UPS Store in UTC/Golden Triangle is looking for an energetic, responsible, fast-learning, outgoing, and reliable person to fill a part-time position with potential to grow. No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided to teach you all aspects of the business. Position responsibilities include: Point-of-Sale software application Shipment transaction processing Sorting and distribution of mail for private mailboxes Packaging procedures Copy and Print Production Lamination and Bindery Tool operations Required Qualifications: Customer Service Oriented This is absolutely key to position qualification PEOPLE FROM THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY WELCOME Computer literate (email, MS Office Software, etc) Physical ability to move and lift heavy packages Reliable transportation Be eligible to become a Notary Public (at least 18 years old with no unresolved criminal issues including probation) The UTC location is open Monday through Friday from 8-7, Saturday 9-5 and closed Sunday. Shifts might vary slightly but they will typically include some 8-3, 11-5 shifts during the week plus a shift on Saturdays. Shifts can be flexible around other commitments (school, second job, etc) But please comunicate ahead of time! Starting salary is $8.75/hr with pay increase(s) based on performance. After 30-day probation period the company will provide Notary Public Commission training course and exam. Once commissioned, you will be compensated $1 per notarization.
