Licensed Practical Nurse Job Opening in Florence, Kentucky - Alliance Healthcare Solutions has partnered up with a Long Term Care facility in the Florence KY area and we are currently seeking:
Licensed Practical Nurses
The ideal candidates would be very flexible, willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays prn and per diem. The LPN is responsible for assisting the Residents with the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of Resident Care with in the facility. Provision of nursing services including, but not limited to: Resident teaching, wellness counseling, health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration and provision of care to chronic and stable clients as determined by physician or health care practitioner.
Participation in continuing education programs.
Requirements :
Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Kentucky.
One years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience.
Experience with working with older adults.
Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 60lbs.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members.
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
TB Test or Chest X-ray with physician documentation
Statement of Good Health from a Physician
