Commercial Account Manager Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Position Summary:
The RMU Account Manager provides exceptional service to all assigned accounts, consistently adhering to service timelines and meeting the agency?s goals for client service.
Job Responsibilities:
*1. Performs all required and requested services for assigned accounts.
*2. Issues proof of coverage binders, auto IDs and renewal certificates at the time of account inception or renewal.
*3. Reviews insurance requirements for client contracts and Master Service Agreements.
*4. Initiates the renewal process by scheduling and attending Review Meetings with clients as requested. Provides a report of current coverages in order to help the account?s producer with a renewal strategy.
*5. Compiles and sends a Review Meeting Summary to the insured and all internal attendees.
*6. Handles renewal marketing with incumbent carriers. Completes and submits applications, answers supplemental questions, receives quotes, and reviews policies for accuracy.
*7. Schedules and attends Proposal Meetings as requested. Outlines rate changes and exposures.
*8. Obtains binding orders from clients. Submits formal binding request orders to carriers.
*9. Creates invoices for Agency Bill clients.
*10. Assists Accounting Department in reconciliation of client accounts.
11. Performs other specific duties and projects assigned by the Director of Operations or Team Leader.

Education:
College degree preferred
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of commercial insurance experience preferred
Professional Certifications:
P&C License
Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service focus
Strong attention to details and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pleasant telephone skills
Working knowledge of computers and MS Office products; working knowledge of Sagitta agency management system preferred
Ability to understand and analyze Commercial Lines coverage, forms, and policies
Special Job Conditions:
Environment in which constant deadlines exist with significant telephone and work-related interruptions
Must be available to work scheduled hours for position
Must be available to work overtime if necessary to meet deadlines
