Restaurant Manager Job Opening in knoxville, Tennessee - Restaurant Manager The 197 room Knoxville Crowne Plaza is looking for a dynamic manager to provide leadership in a hotel restaurant. This is a full time position primarily in the morning hours from 6 am-2 pm but hours and days will vary. Must be available on the weekends. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overall restaurant operation to include team performance, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls, and development, training, and retention of key associates. The ideal hotel candidate will be an experienced Restaurant Manager from a similar sized property or an Assistant Restaurant manager from a larger hotel who has demonstrated a consistent career progression. Without hotel restaurant manager experience, extensive and varied supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment is acceptable. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor degree desirable in hotel/restaurant management. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternate. 2. Minimum of ONE year restaurant experience in a management position. 3. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. 4. Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff. 5. Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.
