Customer support: Resolve customer issues, daily communication with customers, visits.  Defect communication  Customer informs how they found defects, their expectations and time limits  Contain the products shipped (site representatives, quarantine the parts)  Investigate the root cause  Report to the customer about the corrective action  Proactive support - Potential problem areas - Improve the process before defects produced ? Line support: Resolve line issues, daily concerns, defect communication.  Receive Call from the line on quality issues.  Make sure each station is working properly (poke-a-yoke).  Inspectors check defects daily and put the date into computer, print out the defects sheet and put them at the lines.  New Product Start up: Support new product start up  Korea, Sterling heights,, Detroit develop new products.  SL TN makes schedule for pilot production and testing  SL TN gets drawings and parts, assembles, and tests  PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) ? Design change: Request and coordinate design changes.  Coordinate changes, request changes, follow breakpoints, communication  SL-suggests improvement  Customer request (EWO-Engineering Work Order) ? PPAP process ? GP-12: Support end of the line inspection (100% inspection). ? Supplier handling: Work with suppliers on issue resolution, line support, design change coordination, defect communication, new product start up, etc. ?
