Outside Sales Representative-Georgia Job Opening in Byron, Georgia - SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB SUMMARY
Achieves sales goals and profit margin objectives by account acquisition and management within an assigned territory and/or by effectively selling the company?s products and services to industrial coatings applicators. This is done by assisting new and existing customers in selecting, developing and applying industrial coatings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Works in keeping with Company Vision and Mission by helping Eagle Bridges to be the most customer-responsive supplier of high quality industrial paints in the southeast, while assisting our customers in selecting, developing and applying industrial paints to aid in their profitability.
Understands Products to adequately serve and educate customers. This is integral to our approach and the key to being of value to our customers. This requires active learning
Actively Determines Prospects utilizing any available resources: internet word searches, previous customer lists and customer referrals. It is the salespersons responsibility to determine and seek new prospects, consistently.
Invests Necessary Effort to engage in the maximum number of opportunities, holding to a high standard of work ethic and integrity. This means traveling a minimum of two nights a week to enable three, eight-hour ?field days? making visits to prospects and serving existing customers in territory. This practice enables the sales rep to work in keeping with the ?good things happen when you are out? philosophy.
Maintains Reporting in keeping with the Eagle Bridges sales development strategy. The current reports, which are entered in Salesforce are:
Weekly Sales Call
Movement Report
Data Entry into Salesforce Cloud data platform. This includes entering and uploading all information, including sales activity and quotations for each prospect. It is also necessary to create the ?Opportunity? record to maintain the current STAGE of engagement with each prospect. This is our primary storehouse of information and should be treated as such.
Participates in Meetings as required:
Weekly * One on One Meetings * with Sales Manager.
Representatives are required to be prepared for and attend weekly ?Sales and Development? meeting (remote reps to attend via teleconference) when.
Monthly ?Company-Wide Meetings? . (if remote, physical attendance is required every other month)
When needed , attend the ?Inventory Management Meetings? , to review and amend held/expected inventory levels.
Gathers Necessary Information to aid in the right product for the customer?s process. This includes information that would be relevant on the ?Lab Project? request form. When applicable, the representative creates and submits lab request to arrange formulation, determine costs and to provide samples.
Arranges and Participates in Testing of Products to existing/potential customers to aid in their selection and application. It is also the responsibility of the representative to determine outcome of testing.
Determines and Provides Quotations for products. This includes obtaining necessary information the appropriate team members to calculate and provide quotes. This information includes current ?Raw Material Cost? (RMC), packaging costs and shipping/freight. It is the responsibility of the representative to figure costs, type the quote and submit to customer. It is equally important that a copy of the quote be provided to the customer service team. (This is easily accomplished by ?Carbon Copying? quotes when emailing quotes to prospects).
Responds to Customer Communication as quickly as possible whether phone call, email or texts. Response times should always be in keeping with our vision to be the most customer-responsive supplier of industrial paints in the southeast. Always within 24 hours, ideally within a couple of hours.
Manages Profit Margin by analyzing Monthly Commission Report to determine falling and low margin products. The goal is to provide maximum value to our customers while enabling our organization to thrive.
Submit receipts for expenses to accounting department once a week. To aid our bookkeeper in properly accounting for expenses, it is necessary to submit these weekly either in hardcopy form or digitally.
Job Requirements :
College Degree or 2 years of outside sales experience.
Compensation :
Salary: $65,000 + Commissions
Company Car or Vehicle Allowance
