Cleared Hadoop Developer Job Opening in Huntsville, Alabama - Must Haves:
3+ years of experience working on Hadoop platform.
Ingesting data to Hadoop from variety of sources like ERP, CRM, NoSQL and transactional data systems
3+ years of hands-on experience with the Hortonworks Hadoop Platform, Apache NiFi/Hortonworks DataFlow, Spark ecosystem, MapReduce and ETL Workflows
Experience in building and operationalizing Hadoop based data lake
Experience with Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Drill
Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming or HDF
Experience with use and integration of NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka
Experience in tools like git, svn, maven, sbt, Jenkins
Minimum 10+ years technology solutions experience
Extensive knowledge of the SDLC with working experience in Agile methodologies
Experience with designing and implementing projects within the federal sector
Active Secret Clearance required. Interim secret clearance already granted will be accepted.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior IT Specialist (Hadoop) to join a high performing team in the acquisition of a new logistics automation capability for the US Army. This is a senior position delivering enterprise information management solutions for ERP programs at the client.
The primary focus of the effort will be to support the of several legacy applications within the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) domain to AESIP.
LOGSA currently manages the LIW, a repository for data that provides a common location for all Army materiel stakeholders to access, acquire, and deliver data and information for managing Army materiel. LIW integrates legacy systems data with data emerging from modern Army Enterprise Resource Planning systems to provide critical strategic business analytics and business intelligence for the Army?s logistics leaders. This includes in the areas of maintenance management, asset management, supply management, distribution management, life cycle management, and Reset.
