Temporary CAD Drafter Job Opening in eugene, Oregon - Temporary CAD Drafter Express Employment Professionals is looking to fill a Temporary/Contract CAD Drafter position for one of our client companies. Individual will prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for mechanical engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions by Computer Aided Design (CAD) system and SolidWorks. Uses CAD equipment to provide support to Mechanical Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, & diagrams. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture. Makes simple decisions but refers most questions/problems to Mechanical Engineers or Supervisor. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with Mechanical Engineering terminology. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Pays $11-$13 per hour DOE. Requirements: Associate of Arts Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field preferred Two years drafting experience. Strong written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to use related equipment and hardware such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) system (AutoDesk software), Visio, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Windows 95 or higher.
