Stress Lab RN Job Opening in Rock Hill, New york - Job Summary:
The Stress Lab Nurse, under the general supervision of the Nuclear Cardiology Supervisor, is responsible for performing patient assessments prior to, during and after diagnostic cardiovascular stress testing. The Stress Lab Nurse is responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular stress testing examinations. The Stress Lab Nurse is responsible for coordinating various diagnostic procedures across various diagnostic modalities.
Qualifications:
Background:
- Minimum A.A.S. Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with New York State License.
- Minimum Basic ECG Interpretation Proficiency.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification and/or PALS.
Inter-relationships:
- Frequent contact with employees, administration, supervisors and other visitors.
- Contact with patients who have a great deal of fear and anxiety about the procedures performed in the department.
