Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - NICOR Lighting, a 35 year old company, provides a broad range of residential, commercial and industrial lighting products to meet the design criteria of the homebuilder, Industrial/MRO and construction industries.
SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service and sales knowledge for all customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with other departments to determine inventory levels and product availability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide sales support to outside sales staff to ensure effective levels of customer service.
Respond quickly and efficiently to customers? needs via telephone, email or other media.
Provide solutions to customer needs.
Translate customer requests into actual customer needs.
Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing solutions to their needs.
Quote prices for various jobs as required.
Assist in locating special parts or products for customers using available resources.
Process customer orders, returns, credits, cash and credit card transactions.
Provide excellent follow-up for all sales calls and orders as needed.
Participate in ongoing product and company-wide training.
Communicate daily with the Sales Department in regard to customer needs and inquiries.
Special projects as required by Area Sales Director.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School or GED
2-3 years of inside sales experience, in electrical distribution a plus
Good organizational and time management skills.
Excellent follow-up
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to resolve problems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must work well with or without supervision, motivated and a team player. Will work under office supervisor and RSM. Will work with agents, distributors and other Nicor departments. While performing below
