Kitchen Manager Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Job Description: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the back of the house and all of its functions. The person will direct the activities of the hourly employees assuring cleanliness and sanitation, implement purchasing and cost controls, and follow up with corrective action when needed. The Kitchen Manager will ensure made from scratch food is made to specification and will perform and administrative and accounting duties according to company policy. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The Kitchen Manager will impact these responsibility areas through the use of coaching, feedback and developmental skills, by providing vision and leadership to the back of the house staff.
The Kitchen Manager should posses 2+ years of high volume kitchen management experience
The Kitchen Manager should have a passion for developing and mentoring people
The Kitchen Manager should have a track record of achieving financial results
The Kitchen Manager should have a high degree of honesty, integrity and guest orientated philosophy
The Kitchen Manager should have open availability
Job Requirements:
2-4 years of current Kitchen Manager experience
Strong Kitchen Manager operational background and knowledge
The Kitchen Manager should possess exceptional people skills
The Kitchen Manager should possess problem solving skills
Top notch Kitchen Manager with communication and writing skills
