Job Description:
The ColdFusion Developer will develop and revise ColdFusion program code, based on customer requirements, while providing technical leadership in a team-based Agile environment. Key activities include:
Perform as a project lead with the responsibility for guiding, mentoring and providing the technical direction for multi-tiered web-based customer applications
Perform as a technical expert, developing and applying a robust understanding of web-based business applications to customer needs
Apply team-based Agile methodologies to design, develop and implement web-based applications
Design, develop and implement highly complex applications utilizing ColdFusion and back-end Oracle data stores
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems
Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences verbally or in writing to design efficient and effective applications
Work independently and in a team environment
Support setup of production environments including application servers and database servers, and support deployment of applications into production environments
Provide on-call support for a highly visible customer applications
The ColdFusion Developer position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. Additional requirements include: US citizen or Permanent Resident and must have lived and worked in the US for the past five years.
Required Skills/Credentials:
BS in Computer Science or related field of study
6 Years Min. experience in Oracle PLSQL performing software engineering activities
6 Years Min. experience in ColdFusion development
Experience developing with JavaScript frameworks
Experience in a combination in the following areas: HTML and XML
Experience creating web services (SOAP and REST)
Experience developing on multiple platforms including Windows and Linux operating systems
3 years of progressively more complex programming experience in large scale information system environments
Ability to apply creativity in application design
US Citizen or Green Card holder and must be able to obtain a Sensitive Security/Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with , XML, web services
Experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Experience with the full life cycle using an object-oriented methodology
Experience implementing C# web services
Development of multi-tier, web-enabled applications
Design and implementation experience with Oracle databases
Logical database design using Entity-Relationship (ER) concepts and relational database normalization processes
Design and implementation of physical databases including primary/foreign key structure
Development of triggers and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL
