Expected Job Activities
Facilitate training and management of maintenance, office and grounds personnel.
Organize and delegate maintenance schedules.
Solicit and negotiate best value bids with property contractors.
Oversee ongoing property improvement projects.
Problem solve tenant concerns with excellent tenant first customer service.
Follow Landlord Tenant Act, Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodation laws.
Process evictions and work with council on relevant issues.
Monitor monthly expenses in adherence to the NPA budget.
Follow Rent Manager accounting schedule.
Knows how to have fun.
Hard Skills and Education
Valid Alaska Driver?s License with clean driving record
Able to work some evening and weekend hours.
Completion of Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience
4+ years? experience in real estate, management or related field.
2+ years managing personnel.
2+ years inspecting, improving and maintaining property buildings.
