Prototype Machinist Job Opening in rochester, New York - Prototype Machinist Kelly Services is currently recruiting a Prototype Machinist with excellent manual mill and lathe experience (not production worker). This is an exciting opportunity to help develop general manufacturing practices for the production area. As a prototype machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setup, production and maintenance of the manual mills and lathes. The successful candidate will have: 2-4 years hands on experience programming and operating manual mills and lathes. Substantial knowledge of how to machine a wide variety of parts (preferably optics). Ability to work independently and take pride in his/her craft.
