Astrum Solar has established itself as one of the largest residential solar installers on the east coast. Our goal is to spread solar power to rooftops across the US, including in New York. We are looking for a seasoned construction installer to install solar projects. Responsibilities: The Installer will be responsible for loading materials, confirming layout of the array, installing the array and wire runs, and post-install testing. Installer must follow the highest safety and quality standards at all times. Post-installation tasks include field repairs and system troubleshooting. Reports to Lead Installer. Requirements: ? 3 years in the construction industry. Strong residential construction experience required. ? Must be comfortable and safe working on roofs to install solar. This is a physical job. ? Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team. ? Must be able to translate drawings into design and installation to company standards. ? Professional demeanor with strong communication and customer care skills. ? Ensure the company maintains a positive customer relationship throughout the design and construction phase, resolving concerns and complaints and providing excellent customer service throughout the project.
