Currently HydroWorx is seeking to fill the position of: Regional Field Technician. This position would be based in Las Vegas NV, with a 10 Hour drive radius.

Position Primary Objectives
The Regional Field Technician position is primarily responsible for performing all preventative maintenance and emergency service to support the company?s 48-hour service response commitment. The Regional Field Technician is also cross trained to install the company?s line of pools with underwater treadmills. Position entails direct customer contact and ability to handle schedule changes due to emergency service requests.
Experience Required
This position requires a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot common problems associated with electrical and/or mechanical equipment. Three years of experience in repairs or a technical degree in an field is preferred. Experience with plumbing is a plus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform Preventative Maintenance on all models of HydroWorx equipment.
Complete Emergency Service visits as directed.
Install the full line of HydroWorx equipment as directed.
Competencies Highly Desirable
Basic Mechanical troubleshooting
Basic Electrical troubleshooting.
Basic Plumbing.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced, high energy and team-oriented, requiring a strong ability to produce results under pressure, as well as multi-task and prioritize work-related tasks. HydroWorx is a small company with a lean operation, requiring the candidate to work independently with little supervision.
Physical Demands
This position consists primarily of manual labor including lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for long periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This full time position requires 85% or greater travel, with an average of 40-60 hours per week, including overtime. In a typical week, a technician will be travelling Monday through Friday. HydroWorx International does not schedule preventative maintenance visits on weekends and makes every effort to ensure that service technicians are able to have weekends to themselves. There are situations, however, when emergency service situations arise where work or travel is required on weekends. Technicians can expect to work or travel six to eight hours on a weekend once per month.
Preferred Education and Experience
A technical degree in or anything related to work is highly desirable but not required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
