We are currently working with 5 communities in Edina and Eden Prairie, as well as the city of Deephaven. The communities we work with have an average home value of 600K-5 Million and generally are very private. Our company creates monthly publications and directories, and assists in social events for our communities. Today, more than ever, practical experience makes a big difference in landing a job after graduation. Throughout the nation, N2 Publishing will be selecting a few key candidates to gain real world experience in organizational management, sales negotiation, client relations, and writing and publishing. This is the ideal internship for business, marketing, communication, journalism and advertising majors who are looking to sharpen their professional skills prior to graduation. Sales Internship Description: The N2 Sales and Publishing Internship consists of three phases. These phases take place during a three month period whereby the student will work in Sales Support, as a Sales Account Representative, and finally, as a Publishing Assistant. Phase 1 -- Sales Support -- Duties include attending weekly meetings with the Area Director, learning phone skills to set appointments with potential clients, recording performance statistics into weekly reports, and shadowing the Area Director to learn the sales presentation. Phase 2 ? Sales Account Representative Building on the skills acquired in Phase 1, the student will now be responsible for meeting with and presenting the product to potential clients, closing sales, organizing a client base, and building and maintaining client relationships for the duration of the internship. Phase 3 ? Publishing Assistant Finally, interns will help create content for the publication(s) by developing neighborhood social committees, working with our local writers and organizing editorial content. Hours: Hours are flexible; the student should contribute approximately 5 to 20 hours per week. Qualifications: Clear communication skills, organizational skills, making various phone calls, Daily tracking, emails, basic computer skills on Excel/Microsoft word, upbeat and professional attitude are all part of the job.
