LPN Staff Nurse Job Opening in Manchester, New hampshire - Full-time LPN position 7am - 3 pm. Applicant MUST be able to commit to a flexible schedule that includes every other weekend. Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor and RN's, the LPN is responsible for providing professional nursing care within the scope of practice and guidelines in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include triage and assessing of inmate needs, monitoring of medical/mental health needs of inmates, administer medication and care as ordered, update providers of changes in inmate condition, obtain and carry out orders from the providers, responding to medical emergencies and perform other related duties as required.
Must be a licensed License Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire with a minimum of 1 year experience. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to handle multiple tasks, be able to work and communicate effectively with other healthcare
This is a coed correctional facility and applicant must be physically able to climb, stand, bend and lift.
