Staff Accountant - Temporary, Full-time Job Opening in Peabody, Massachusetts - ACCOUNTANTS in the Peabody, MA area:

An opportunity is available for the right individual to join Paradigm Precision's Peabody Accounting team. This position is a temporary, full-time role, covering for an employee leave for approximately 4-5 months, beginning in early November, 2017.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB REQUIREMENTS
Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience including strengths in the following?
Loading the Journals and maintaining the General Ledger
Assisting with month-end and year-end close process
Preparing weekly and monthly financial reporting utilizing advanced excel skills
Compiling information for auditors
Preparing journal entries, keeping the balance sheet current and monthly account closings and reconciliations
Monitoring and reviewing accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Preparing and reviewing revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
Maintaining internal financial controls and associated procedures
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree or related experience with a minimum of five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Demonstrated understanding of generally accepted accounting principles required.
SPECIAL SKILLS and/or KEY COMPETANCIES:
Proficiency in Excel is required.
