PSS, CNA - 4pm to midnight
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced caregiver to work with an energetic woman who has ALS and lives a full life. Her need is for a team that will help maintain her quality of life. The current shift need is for 4pm to midnight.
The ideal candidate would have some college and a demonstrated interest in healthcare. Knowledge or experience with ALS clients is helpful. The willingness and ability to learn and maintain the daily established routine is critical. Each shift is designed with specific activities that focus on the care, comfort, and lifestyle of the client.
Specific training will be provided.

Ability to lift, pivot, and transfer 110 lbs. safely
Complete attentiveness to the client needs and non-verbal queues
Patience to learn a regimented daily routine and unique communication system or method
Support the client in achieving her desired quality of life

A 2-year commitment is required.
